Quick Blog #2: Racism Article

This article is in regards to a Georgia youth football coach that had made racial comments on the common social networking site facebook.com.  His comments on the site were about ethnic groups and women.  Frank Samuelson then went further on to try and publicly apologize for the comments he had made, but many parents of the children on the youth football team were moved by it.  Unfortunately in America today, no matter if you're joking or just making a slight comment regarding racism, you are seen as a racist and should be looked down upon.  Frank Samuelson was described as being a very nice guy and someone who always put others first, but because he made one little comment he's considered a racist.  I'm not saying that what he did was right, but it's sad that even little remarks are said and blown out of context at times.  He apologized and should be forgiven overtime.  We're not going to solve this racism problem if we continue to fight about it.  I'm sure Frank Samuelson learned from his mistake and many others should follow suit.
